So this is my blog, here's me

I will start out by telling you who I am. I'm an average girl, I'm not particularly brilliant, I'm average height, maybe a slight bit over average weight, I have almost 2.2 children, 3 to be exact, I am a wife to a most incredible man, I am a darn good portrait photographer, this is my only talent. I adore the ocean, books with poignant and beautiful words, and shopping with my girlfriends. I fondly call my town of Littleton, NH the arctic tundra, well, maybe not fondly. It's cold here- a lot, and it rains or snows constantly. There's also no Target and that has become a constant nagging sadness for me. I worship at the Church of the Treadmill, it is here that a most perfect Savior has delighted me with His presence and a revelation of his love for me. I love my church. I never have to cook for a potluck supper here.

A few years ago I thought I ought to educate myself about the Constitution. I had never read it, not once do I even remember talking about it in school. Isn't that weird? So I set out, painfully at first I might add, to learn what my simple mind could about it. And something glorious happened. I developed a love affair with it and this great nation's history, a grand story that would not be believable as a novel. And that love affair grew into a fierce passion for the defense of a document I believed to be divinely inspired. Fast forward a few years to now when I have come to a point in my education where I think I can talk somewhat intelligently on the subject, and voila..my blog.

Here's what I want to accomplish with this blog:
1. I want busy people who don't have time to devote to learning a boatload of American history to be able to come here and get a small dose of knowledge about why I, a simple American Mom and business owner, believe the Constitution is good and Marxism is bad.

2. I am going to lay out a case for all the reasons why our Founders put lots and lots of provisions in place to keep us from adopting a socialist/communal/Marxist style government, and why we should fear that it isn't working.

3. You will learn why I believe that even though some things sound nice, (like free health care for example) they aren't really actually nice or good.

4. You will find here non partisan politics. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, whatever you are, we aren't talking party here. You will find simple facts, just the facts ma'am, just the facts. With a lot of love for the Constitution thrown in.

There are a few rules for my blog:
1. You may post a comment in opposition to my argument but you will do it with respect and with facts. I will ignore any comments who do not do this, or I will post them to prove that rudeness runs rampant when a person can't defend his argument with good clean facts.

2. If you post an argument to any of my points that includes, "Bush did it!" or "Racist!" Or, "Republican!" I will only publish your comment with the intention of ridiculing your fact-less argument. Plus, I already know Bush did it too and I am not happy about it; you will find nothing in my speech EVER that suggests I am racist; and I am a Libertarian and find most Republican Reps to be part of the problem.

3. The existence of God, the belief our Founders had in Him, and His role in the writing of the Constitution is not up for debate. I am completely closed minded on this and when people talk to me about there being no divine influence in the framing of the Constitution, I hear the Charlie Brown Teacher voice. Mwamamwammawaaa.

So, there ya have it. I have no idea when I will post my first bit of Constitution goodness, but I am sure it will be soon.

This is me:
